The purpose of this course is to familiarize participants with the fundamental rules of French table manners. While explaining the historical background of French dining etiquette, the course introduces numerous practical tips on how to behave in a mannerly and elegant way at a table. The rules of etiquette explained in the course apply not only to everyday life, but also to more formal occasions.
The Art of French Wine
The aim of this course is to familiarize participants with the basics of wine tasting. Through a theoretical and practical approach, participants will have a better understanding of what is viticulture and will be able to assess the quality of a wine through wine tasting, open a wine bottle and serve it and more!
For a better learning experience, participants shall prepare three wine samples (18cl bottles are advised) of single-variety wines made with Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. This will enable participants to taste wine at the same time as the speaker Matthieu Ventelon and being able to interact, appreciate the aromas and wine quality.
