Mother’s Day Etiquette Tea

I’m beyond excited to announce our 2015 Mother’s Day Etiquette Lesson and Afternoon Tea! Last year it was held at the Borgata Hotel, Atlantic City, but this year, the goal was to bring the tea home to Washington. Held at the City Tavern Club of Georgetown, the tea will include an etiquette lesson on poise, posture, tea history and table manners. With a delicious 3-course tea menu and bellini bar, prepare to amaze your senses. Additionally, there will be opportunities for professional photographs with your special ladies on the beautiful rooftop terrace.

This event is perfect for all ages with activities to entertain children and adults and is not to be missed. Join us in your finest sundresses, tea hats and fascinators.

When I think about Mother’s Day, I think beyond my amazing mother to the village of women who continue to support me. My grandmother, godmother and ladies of my sorority have been influential mother-figures in my life. The goal of this day will be to honor the ladies in my life and the special women in yours.
