Frequently Asked Questions
Can dining etiquette be included?
Absolutely. Dining etiquette is a popular component and can be incorporated whether or not a full meal is being served.
Can we host the session in a home or clubhouse?
Yes. We regularly host sessions in homes, libraries, restaurants, and community spaces based on what works best for the group.
Is there a limit to how many children can attend?
We find that smaller groups allow for more personalized instruction, but we’re happy to accommodate your needs. Just let us know your anticipated number of participants.
Is this appropriate for older children or teens?
Yes. We adapt each session based on the developmental stage of the group, ensuring that the content is both relevant and engaging.
Do you travel outside of Washington, D.C. for sessions?
We are pleased to offer sessions within a 25-mile radius of Washington, D.C. (zip code 20001). If your chapter is located beyond that range, we’re happy to explore travel options or virtual alternatives upon request.
Who leads the etiquette sessions?
All sessions are personally led by Crystal L. Bailey, Director of The Etiquette Institute of Washington. With over a decade of experience in etiquette education, a law background, and a career spanning federal service and international training, Ms. Bailey brings warmth, expertise, and elegance to every youth workshop.
